Can you believe that September has come and gone? This year is absolutely flying by. I suppose it has a lot to do with the quarantine and just being at home for a long time, but sheesh. My birthday was at the beginning of this month and I asked for a bunch of amazon stuff, so some of this is from items I ordered myself a while back and some are brand new to the family 😉
- Square Sunglasses
First item on our favorites this month are these square glasses. They are a total dupe for a Ray-Ban style that puts us at over $100 which makes me sick. The ONLY negative I have about them is they are kind of flimsy so I have to be really careful with them. Otherwise I love them. They came with a cute bright yellow case and a lens cleaning cloth. They look great on pretty much any face shape too which is really nice.
2. Retractable Eraser Pens
I use my planner for everything in my life. All of my activities, thoughts, brain dumps, ideas and plans are in that thing. It helps keep me on track in every way you can imagine. What gets annoying is how often things change and I have to scribble through them, making my planner look hideous. So I fixed that and bought these wonderful pens. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality for the price point and I can finally write in my planner with all these beautiful colors and make all the changes or mistakes I want! The really cool part is that the eraser is just a type of thick rubber and not an eraser, so it’s not getting smaller and smaller each time I use it. Some of the colors are little difficult to see because the ink a special type of ink, but most of the colors are really pretty and fun!
3. Matte Top Coat
I love the way a matte top coat looks. This one is AMAZING. I have never in my life put a top coat on and not kidding you within 60 seconds my nails are completely dry. It’s mind blowing for those of you who like me, for the most part have always done their own nails. What usually takes 30 minutes to fully dry, this top coat lets me get off and going in a minute! I will say after about 5 or 6 days the top coat starts to do that weird cracking thing but if that doesn’t bother you or if again like me you’re probably doing your nails again by then anyway….this top coat is worth it.
4. Tie-Dye Kit
In quarantine we have all been bleaching and tie-dying everything. Your girl has about 6 sweatshirts now that all have been done and a lot more colors to go! I’ve even started making them for birthday gifts and it seems people are really enjoying them. This kit is the best one I’ve found so far. It has a tarp (which I promise you will need), it has gloves, rubber bands and 15 colors to choose from. The colors are gorgeous and vibrant and it’s so much fun. Definitely grab this one while you can if you’re looking to have a tie-dye party, then invite me!
5. Canvas Tote Bag
This cute tote comes with a few different says on it and I ended up with “Brunch” so that I can use it for all my brunch dates hehe. It’s much larger than I expected and fits pretty much everything you can imagine. It’s the perfect shopping day bag or beach bag. It’s great quality as well and doesn’t feel or look cheap in anyway.
6. Tie-Dye PJ Jumpsuit
I’ve obviously been loving the Tie-Dye trend and I love a good PJ set, but having the two of these in one is even better. This set is THE softest thing I’ve ever felt and it’s SO comfy and cozy. I can’t wait to wear it all fall and winter long. I will say to size down a little, I’m usually a medium (size 6) and this is a little large all over. If you’re looking for that extra comfy fit, then keep your normal size.
7. Java Sok
If you’re an avid coffee drinker like myself then you’ll know just how badly you need these. I’m super grateful that I ended up receiving TWO for my birthday because I had not even thought of the need to keep one with me on the go. I can’t tell you how often I order iced coffee and it’s too cold for me to hold or the opposite and I order hot coffee and without a sleeve it’s too hot to hold. Insert the Java Sok. It aides in both of these issues and is also super cute and Instagram photo worthy!
8. Wave Wand
I saw these all over Instagram for a while and saw them as pretty pointless to begin with. Then I finally sat through someones tutorial and instantly added it to my cart. I’m obsessed. It takes a fraction of the time as curling wands do and once you get the hang of it, makes your hair look like effortless beach waves! It’s a must have in my opinion.
9. Velvet Scrunchies
I’m pretty excited that the 80’s and 90’s trends are coming back in full force. Insert scrunchies! This pack comes with 20 different colors and all of them are gorgeous. The quality is unbeatable especially for the price. They come in a drawstring bag and trust me, you’ll have one to match every outfit!
10. Scalp Massager
This one is something I definitely implore you to purchase for yourself. It’s probably my official favorite self care item I’ve ever had. I use this every time I wash my hair and I can’t tell you the difference it makes. First is helps get my shampoo into my hair and out of my hair(once I’m rinsing) better than I can with my hands alone and second it just feels AMAZING. Think hair salon shampoo but at home. This one specifically is very well made and durable so you’ll have it around for a while.
11. Leopard Print Skirt
Don’t we love a good trend? This one calls for a super cute, super lightweight mini skirt. I plan to wear this one well into fall with chunky sweaters and booties! This one is also a dupe for a realllyyy expensive one from Nordstrom and it’s almost identical.
That’s all for this months favorites! Hopefully you can just place one giant order 😉 Let me know if the comments, products you love or things you plan on trying.
